I logged onto the Google site and found this Blogger link. So, I figured I'd see what the big deal was. I can't imagine anyone else logging on to see what I'm typing. It seems a bit silly. Who knows, maybe this is the start of my great literary career. I somehow doubt it.

So, 2005 is the Year of Aggressive Savings. It was supposed to be 2004, but didn't really work out... 2004 was better than 2003, but we're hoping that 2005 will be even better. I wonder what the statistics are on how long New Year's resolutions last. 5 days? 2 days? 1 month? Somehow, I imagine that shorter is more likely. I think that my only resolution is to save more money. And to drink less alcohol, I guess. I don't really feel like I drink too much, but I still think that I should drink less. Make sense? Yeah, not to me either. Maybe I feel like I should drink less because beer is expensive and then I'll save more money if I drink less. I'll stick with that for now.

I had mentioned to my boss last week that 2005 was the year of Aggressive Savings... (I guess I should mention that he's leaving our company and looking for something else to do. He has a couple of different things that he's working on and promises to take me with him if he can.) Anyway, so I was telling him that 2005 is the year of Aggressive Savings and he said that he hoped that one of his plans worked out and that I could go with him and that it could be the year of Aggressive Savings and Aggressive Spending. I guess that would be ideal. :-)
